This is a question that many individuals ask, so LIZN has conducted a scientific test measuring the fit rate of LIZN Hearpieces® compared to several popular earphones on the market.
What are the challenges?
When testing the fit to the ears, three main areas are important:
• Physical comfort
• Acoustic seal
• Testing the placement of the microphones, including the risk of one of the microphones being covered
LIZN has had the Finnish specialist laboratory SoundlyFit carry out the test. They use both a simulation based on a 3D database of ears and a subjective ergonomic test based on test subjects representing various ethnic groups, ear shapes, and ear sizes.
Physical comfort
The first and most important question is physical comfort. How do the Hearpieces® fit in the ears, and how does the comfort feel in the ear canal itself?
In this test, LIZN Hearpieces® scored top marks for the natural-feeling of the fit of the ear and comfortable placement in the ear canal when choosing the right Heartip. Acoustic seal

SoundlyFit has tested this and found that there are no examples among the company's test subjects of the microphones becoming blocked, but depending on ear shape and size, this might be a risk.
