They have NEVER worked properly!!! They sit in their case unused. In my opinion, they were a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I was really hopeful these would help improve my hearing, perhaps even as an alternative to hearing aids. Unfortunately, they haven’t worked very well for me, and the sound quality hasn’t been great. After a few weeks, I stopped using them.

However, the 'Grea't rating did not come easily. After I saw them on a Saturday morning tv show many years ago, (primarily for kids), I was interested. Being slightly deaf in my left ear (which has not gotten better - but worse) I didn't think or like the idea of hearing aids. But Ear Pieces looked great. Purchased a pair as soon as they were available. There were some difficulties in the beginning, but slowly, those ebbed away.
But they still didn't seem to work very well.
I then used them sporadically, with mixed results.
I then put them away.
Then, about 2 years later, (wait for it), there was an email that suggested that it would be helpful to update the Ear Pieces. So I said, what the hell, and did.
And I now find them excellent - especially when listening to my eight grandchildren. It's rather nice to hear them say actual words that I can respond to, rather than just nod my head and say "really" without really hearing what they are saying.
So now, I am happy to say that they are working much better and I am sure that when the merry little band of thinkers that seem to direct the operation continue to improve these devices, the experience will get even better.

I really like your listening pieces as I am not deaf but have some hearing loss. It takes a while to get used to them but the sound is quite good. I still think when wearing both I still hear the echo inside my head as when eating something like potato chips I hear it internally. That's about the only thing I don't like, the lost of or amplification of my own sounds within. I know Lizn is working on what you call AOC but I haven't yet experienced it's application or success.

My wifes hearing loss is very severe. The LIZN hearing aids was a test to see if they would help as an alternative set to use when resting her ears from the prescription aids, but unfortunately they didn't help at all.
